Beyond Basics

I attended the scrapbook class - Beyond basics
by Made With Love this afternoon.
Gate-crashed into this class without attending
the "getting started" workshop.
Of course, to make up for it, I have to be more attentive
and ask more questions. *hee*
It was an interesting and relaxing class!
With only 6 of us, we had an awesome & relaxing time
playing with the stamps and choosing our patterned papers.
To me, I find it really difficult to match the right
pattern papers to put together a page.
So I managed to learn a few tricks today but still not that skillful.
Managed to come out with a page on my japan trip.
Do leave yr comments k?

It hasn't been easy to oversee GB for the past 2 odd years.
Having her around really comforts me.

made a trip to made with love this afternoon, after two sessions of remedial.
bought quite a number of stuff
(buttons, ribbons, tags, pop-out glue etc etc)
to prepare to make my *gifts*
been surfing online on scrapbook ideas ... its reallie exciting!
do look out at my blog for the websites of the sites I am surfing.
hope to share my love for scrapebooking with you all.

hopefully, I will be able to finish all my little *gifts* in time

Random thots

I think relationships are fragile and brittle
They are liken to our teeth
it needs constant daily attention and care
to brush and floss away any stuff that can wear it down
it requires frequent checkups every six months to ensure that it is still doing well
If we fail to take care when its still new and young,
it will ache and fall apart in the later years
aches will come along the way and
cause pain that cant be withstood
if God wills, it can be repaired.
else it will be taken off
and a gap remains...

disappointments

Ever counted the number of disappointments you experience each day?
perhaps you miss a bus or train
perhaps your loved one has let you down
perhaps you r disappointed by things that are happening in your own life...

Disappointments comes by so quickly.
Sometimes even before we can anticipate it or prepare to face it.
A pity that feeling cannot be replaced by other forms of emotions.
Neither can it be watered down with time.
It's like a hill that becomes a mountain
and eventually it might just erupt.


They count on it but are disappointed.
When they arrive, their hopes are dashed.

Perhaps less hopes will receive less disappointments, less aches...

fancy for scrapbooking

I have an irresistible fancy for scrapbooking.
After making my 1st scrape book last year,
I love the details and fun of putting it all together.
probably cos I am a very-into-details person,
i love the fun of putting in details and
designing stuff for people.
An expensive hobby though.
But i love the entire process of doing it.

Intend to sign up classes to sharpen this little fancy of mine.
