Techniques

For the past week, I learnt several new stuff like using acrylic paint (dying to get a bottle to do more stuff), embossing (its quite tricky using the heat gun) and working on a sheer album. Truly enjoyed the time spent on doing scrap & crafts cos it just takes my mind off my work. Well, not too sure if I have time to do all this when my workload builds up again. Thinking about work, I really have many things to do. Think I must truly prioritize my time properly... endless expectations & work.

Season of Giving

Attended Laine's workshop yesterday and
I managed to finish up on my frame, card & ornament
at the workshop.
It's truly fun working with a bunch of like-minded ladies
who are like me, just happy to be able to
create something out of our own hands. :)

My Scrap Space

decided to take a pic of how my desk will look like when I am in the progress of doing my stuff.
see how messy things are... papers everywhere and all my drawers will be opened.. cos I will be searching for stuff. haha... and I will take time to put my things back in order. It's just so important to have a big space to do your crafts.

New membership

yeah, I finally completed my stamps for my scrap card at mwl.
but think the next level is really quite unachievable.
but it means I am really broke this month.

i bought a 2 ring book by maya road. really cute.
can't wait to embark on my next project.
the sheer maddness workshop is fantastic. reallie loved it.
will upload my sheer album when its done.

altered photo frame

made a trip to ikea and bought many frames.
I altered one of them for a gift.
the process is really tiring as need to mix and match whatever papers I have at home.
this time i did some sewing for the flowers. *pain*
spent 3 hours just doing this frame.
hl says its reallie time consuming.
guess its the satisfaction at the end of it that makes me delighted. :)

technology advancing

I never did manage to catch up with the IT stuff available.
neither am I very fascinated with gadgets like guys do.
but must say this nano is really interesting.
i can even watch " my devil wears prada" on the bus.
its amazing how the technology changes life.

Diet...

I did an accounts check on my expenditure these two months.
think i really need to go on a strict scrap diet. :(
haiz... going to put myself on budget for these few months.
going to be terrible when christmas is round the corner
& I have plenty of ideas on things I wanna make. :(
guess I just have to make do with my present stash
& probably one or two new stuff each month.
guess no stamping for me yet.

Thankful

This pic is memorable cos i spent my bday with this root beer.
It's part of a promotion of mwl for october.
It tastes great but thats not the highlight.
I love the 25% discount for my paper cutter more.
