Without seeing things the way God does,
we can lose hope and get discouraged.
Ask God to help you see your situation
from His perspective.
Things may seem more manageable.
And don't forget to thank Him
for the opportunity to get a bird's-eye view!
What is impossible for people is possible with God.
Luke 18:27 NLT
***
How often I am caught in my perspective
and that I often try to take things into my own hands.
Thank God for the gentle reminder.

Is that all?

sometimes life is certain,
and things are in control,
everything seems so sure and possible;
sometimes life turns blur,
every certainty shakes and confusion strikes,
surrounded by dying passion and indifference.

"In Christ alone, I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone"

finally....

the long awaited break has arrived.
Past weeks were madness.
Coupled with meetings after meetings,
exams papers to submit and to vet,
deadlines to meet,
on top of all the work I have to do,
it was literally insane.
Thank God for this short yet treasured break.
Sometimes I wonder why we work so hard.
Once my colleague told me,
" We work so that we can eat,
and ironically, we eat so that we can work."
Work is just work after all.
There is more to this life.
