Been spending some time looking at the home decor websites like apartment therapy and decor8. It really inspires me and give me ideas of how I wan to design my own home. but well of course price does hinders whatever ideas that came forth. :/ but i still love to look at the sites to just admire the designs.
my house is now in the process of renovation. Hacking done. tiling almost done. paint colours and cabinets colours chosen. we have just bought all the wc, sinks, shower accessories etc. that also costs a bomb. now left air-conditioning and lights to choose. renovation is a massive & expensive affair. i look forward to seeing the final look of the house - how every piece of item/colour/texture chosen is able to fit in together.

Lunar new year flew past like a rocket to the moon. now is back to assignments and projects. got to be more hardworking at least for these two months as got to juggle the many reflections that need to be submitted. typing one now and hoping to get it finished soon for submission end of this week.
this is the first cny that i received lesser ang bao than i gave out. but it is still a blessing to be able to give. and two months of marriage has passed and also living with my in-laws. indeed there has been many changes to adapt to as I have to leave my very comfortable home to adapt to new family members and new habits and new responsibilities. Can't deny that I really missed my home and my time spent with my family. though living with in laws can be not as comfortable as own home but they are indeed nice people and I am still learning to be a good daughter-in-law as well. Nonetheless, it is still nice to have parents (whether in-laws or not) to cook a nice meal for u to come home to after a long day at school. i think that's something i will miss when my house will be ready in a few months time. i better learn how to cook soon!
