When I first heard this song, the lyrics lifted my spirits. I hope it will lift yours too.

V:In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I’ve been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I’ll overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal to the grace by which I stand

C:In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

V:In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
For only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor in just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses to the glory of my Lord

Paris

Bonjour! Paris is my final stop and it is truly a romantic city of lights. I believe everyone will fall in love with the place the moment u are there. It's a pity I only have 2 nights here.

We took the open bus top tour to see the city too.
The streets are lined with all the same series of French buildings.
There are many gold-plated figurines too.

River Seine is where you can see all the beautiful sights.
A walk down the path or a cruise along the river will be lovely.

This is a huge square with no buildings. I like the sky line. There are many flower shops there and the flowers are so pretty.
Arc de Triomphe - It can be seen in practically all areas of the city.

Champs-Elysées
This street became very nice when it lighted up at night.

It's super crowded here as the whole line of branded stores can be found.

At the end of the street, you will see Arc de Triomphe.

LV is one of the major shopping interest. Five storeys!
Notre-Dame de Paris
Paris metro
Even the stations have paintings on their ceilings.

Eiffel Tower

We queued for 1 hour 30 mins just to get the tickets.
By then it has turned dark and the tower has lighted up.
You can hear the clicking of many cameras.

The Louvre. Two hours there is barely sufficient. Too many things to see...
But there were only French explanations for all the paintings and exhibits.

On our way to see Mona Lisa.

The famous painting

The Last Supper

Picasso Works

This is a nice one but I have no idea who painted this.
Many people were clicking away on this figurine.
All the greek exhibits

I like this greek piece. Paris is a really beautiful city.
But if you know French, getting around will be much easier.
However, its really expensive to shop or dine there.
I actually spent $14 on a foot long tuna baguette.
But of course, its the best baguette I have ever eaten. :)
Do save up if you are planning to go there.
Au revoir.

UK Trip Part 2

This is a picture of us outside the Natural History Museum. Don't you think its so funny? I also dunno what we were doing. *haha*

You might find this picture familiar. Remember the movie " A night at the museum"? I am sure you will recall this scene. :)

I absolutely love the building. It is just so pretty and the designs are so fine and intrinsic. Every part of the building is so nicely done. It's so hard to see them in Singapore.

I took this shot when we left the museum at 5pm. See how quickly the sky has turned dark.

We headed for Harrods after a long day. Its a really expensive store. I only walked out with three boxes of tea. :(

Its Day 5 in London and we headed to Ravens Wood School at Kent. It's a long ride and I took a shot of the lovely morning on our way to the school.

That's a picture of my student guide, Kristen, who showed me around the school. He speaks really well and is very sincere. You would realise that I am all wrapped up and he is not cold at all. Terrible.
A walk by the river will be nice. Don't be deceived by the sun, it's actually cold outside.

Finally, we headed for Cambridge. And we all loved it very much. In fact, we all wished to study here. Kinda wished I have been smarter. Cambridge reminded me of Harry Potter a little cos of the castle-like buildings. The English lady is our Cambridge guide. She jokes in a serious manner that makes me laugh.
A picture of one of the students' dinning hall. It's so nice. Our university canteens cannot be compared.

A picture of the view by the river :)

I took many pictures of the buildings. Just could not resist. The students travel to different buildings for lessons either by foot or bicycle. They aren't allowed to drive.

This dinning hall is very cosy and grand with a fireplace as well. All the tables are set with fine culinary. *impressed*

More pictures of the buildings. Aren't they lovely?

There are many quaint little shops in Cambridge. And I found this shop quite interesting. These are the old English suits for men. So vinitage. And it's still on sale.

The sun came out and the photos looked even better.

That's the school's chapel. Very grand indeed.
Visitors need to pay to visit the chapel though.

Trinity College - where our MM Lee studied.

This is my favourite picture of Cambridge. There were little boats where people just relax under the beautiful skies and scenery. And it also marked the end of our Cambridge tour.

We took the Eurostar to leave for Paris at St Pancras Station.

Farewell to London and in 2 hours, i will arrive at Paris.
A better way of travelling than taking the plane.
